After serving in the United State Marine Corps during Operation Enduring Freedom and after receiving his B.S. in Business Administration and MBA thereafter, Brian worked as a loan officer and then Assistant Vice President for a national mortgage company.
During the downturn in 2008, Brian decided to go back to school to pursue his juris doctorate. Upon graduating from law school and passing the CA Bar exam, he worked as an associate attorney for a well-known property/business law firm based in Northern California.
Using this experience, coupled with his experience in finance prior to practicing law, Brian was able to form his own mortgage and real estate company – Attorneys Funding Group, Inc. – which now compliments his real estate law firm
Born and raised in Hawaii on the beautiful island of Oahu, I am a native to the land and have grown to love what I do, which is assist my clients in anything and everything regarding mortgages and financing with regards to their real estate.
Being a loan officer that works for a mortgage brokerage has broadened my knowledge of the many types of loans that exist out there. I am licensed in multiple states (California, Colorado, and Hawaii), and can assist my clients with the most simple refinances to the most difficult types of financing.
I am also a licensed real estate agent and can handle listings/purchases with ease. Additionally, owning multiple investment properties has given me extensive knowledge in fix and flips and hands on experience when it comes to determining if a property will be a financial burden or benefit.
All this knowledge is paired with my ability to communicate effectively and efficiently. As a self-employed individual, I understand the importance of building trust with all of my clients and grant them the ease of mind of knowing that I’m always available to answer any questions or concerns. It is that level of trust and communication that makes people want to work with me.

I began my Mortgage career in Northern Nevada in 2005, where I spent most my life growing up, so I have a deep understanding of the local area. In the summer of 2006, I decided to relocate to Las Vegas, which has been my primary residence since.
Throughout my professional career, my passion has always been Mortgage and Real Estate. However, I have also worked in Nevada Politics, as a lobbyist and campaign manager, as well as the Las Vegas Nightlife and Hospitality industry.
Over the past 15 years of my professional career, I have been able to forge and maintain invaluable relationships with mortgage lenders, elected officials, business leaders, labor leaders, lobbyists, and VIP hosts.
Having a diverse professional network throughout the entire State of Nevada has proved to be a dynamic component in being able to relate to all of my clients on a personal level, and to help ensure I provide an exceptional understanding of their family’s financing needs and goals.
Originally from a small town in Ohio, I’m an avid sports enthusiast, which helped me earn a scholarship to Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where I played 5 years of college football and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations.”
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento in Business Administration, I worked as a Fire Inspector where I gained vast knowledge of building composition and structure elements, and various methods to detect building hazards as it relates to fire safety.
While in the role as an inspector it helped sharpen my organizational skills, which led to being an efficient loan processor with an immense attention to detail.
With over 17 years of experience in the customer service industry, I have a passion for helping people and am committed to assisting clients with their goals to obtain the financing they need for home purchases, refinances, and reverse mortgages.
With 3 Generations of Real Estate Professionals behind me, you could say Real Estate is in my blood. I am proud to continue the legacy of serving my community by providing relevant Mortgage-related info, personal communication, and friendly professional service.
I’ve been a Loan Originator since graduating from UC Davis with a B.A in Communication Studies, and have loved every second of it! My passion for people is what drives my professional pursuits. As Loan Originator, I pride myself on listening to the needs of my clients, and taking the time to educate them about the Home Buying & Refinancing process.
Additionally, I’m currently working towards earning my CA Broker’s License! The education associated with this license will help me to better serve my clients, and the Greater Sacramento Area.
